Park Street Cottages & Apartments was established in 2009 because of the lack of choice of accommodation in Perth and its close surrounds. For many frequent corporate travellers, the thought of yet another hotel leaves little appeal. Likewise for holidaymakers and people with short stay requirements, whether it is a family wedding, party, special event gathering, funeral, medical requirements, or business commitments – the reasons are endless.
What began as several inner city residential investment properties became little homes away from home for visiting family and friends. The houses were so popular we decided to expand and now here we are today offering what we feel is a perfect option to the standard, bland, same old same old hotel accommodation you experience anywhere in the world. Our houses and apartments are all thoughtfully fitted out and equipped with what we feel is everything you should need to simply arrive with a suitcase and settle in. All have full kitchens and laundries, together with either courtyards or balconies in which to relax with a drink, a good book or the newspaper, or simply to enjoy a bbq or to dine. Having beautiful top quality linen and beds in our houses is another essential and one that we know our guests enjoy and appreciate.
We have endeavoured to secure individual houses and apartments within close proximity to all our beautiful city of Perth has to offer. From Kings Park and the beautiful Swan River with the multitude of walking and cycling trails in its city surrounds, the historic University of Western Australia, 5 of the city’s major hospitals and the many attractions of the wining, dining and café culture of the Subiaco, Perth city, Leederville, Highgate and Northbridge areas, to the business and shopping opportunities of the CBD, our houses are all right in the middle of this hub of excitement. The properties are just a short distance to Patterson Stadium (formerly Subiaco Oval), delightful Matilda Bay, the Perth Convention Centre, the new Perth Arena complex, the Perth Theatre Centre, His Majesty’s Theatre, the Perth Museum and the Art Gallery of Western Australia.
Trains and buses are also close by for that visit to any of Perth’s fabulous iconic pristine beaches or perhaps the historic port city of Fremantle.
We hope your stay in any of our houses or apartments will help make your visit to Perth a happy one.
