The Neighbourhood
Highgate is one of Perth's historic inner city suburbs which has recently had a massive resurgence in popularity. The Beaufort Street precinct is now a thriving, exciting, hip and happening location for shopping, dining and getting out and about. Just minutes away you will find beautiful Parisian style flower shops, patisseries & cafes, fabulous fashion and gift shops plus some amazing cutting edge restaurants and bars. Perth's iconic and historic Astor Theatre is also in this precinct. Highgate is THE place to be seen!
You also have your very own local cafe only a couple of doors away - Lincolns is a great spot to enjoy your morning tea or coffee and to read the paper in the sunshine.
Hyde Park is also only a few minutes walk away and is a lovely relaxing space to wander in amongst the beautiful parklands, gardens and the lake area there.
The house is fully "self catered" - once you arrive and settle in we won't interrupt you with cleaning and servicing. If you would like your bed made and your house cleaned, please let us know and we would be happy to come and do your housework for you at a cost of $40 per hour.

Getting Around
There is a bus stop only a couple of minutes away in Beaufort Street which is then only 5 minutes to the Perth CBD. Vibrant and exciting Northbridge is also on this side of town and is also only a couple of minutes by this bus, or a pleasant walk if you wish. The Perth Convention Centre, the new Perth Arena complex, the Perth Theatre Centre, His Majesty's Theatre, the Perth Museum and the Art Gallery of Western Australia are all close by. The Perth soccer stadium, NIB Stadium, which is also a regular home to music concerts and other events, is also only a couple of streets' walk away.
Other Things to Note
The house has ducted air con throughout and includes wifi. There is also a nice rear garden for you to relax in and enjoy our wonderful Perth weather.
We charge a $120 cleaning/linen surcharge on all bookings.
There is also a $50 security bond charged on all bookings. This bond will be happily refunded to you via direct debit shortly after you have departed and we have undertaken an inventory and cleaned the house. No security bond will be withheld unless we have entered into, or attempted to enter into discussions with you first. The bond will only be withheld in cases of damage, theft or extra cleaning if required. Please see “Cleaning” section on our Booking Enquiry page.
Once your booking has been received and confirmed and payment has been made, refunds will only be given if notice is received in writing prior to 7 days before your booking was due to commence.
We do have a 3 night minimum, but please feel free to check with us as we are more than happy to do less than 3 nights if we can fit you in with other bookings.

Longer terms are negotiable
